Our "core" values

| April 18, 2016

This month the All Lines crew volunteered at Second Harvest to help our charity of the quarter, At the Core. Through their partnership with Second Harvest, At the Core feeds hungry schoolchildren in our area by distributing weekend food kits full of shelf-stable, kid-friendly food.

Many children depend on their schools for free breakfasts and lunches throughout the week. When the weekends roll around, however, they are often left without enough to eat at home. That’s where At the Core comes in to fill those gaps over the weekends. They currently work with 57 elementary schools to help feed 2,600 kids in Spokane County.

During our two-hour shift, we managed to sort 11,000 pounds of food and assemble 900 weekend food bags for low-income schoolchildren in the Mead and Spokane school districts. The work wasn’t difficult, and it was exciting to know we were directly supporting a great cause.

You can help too! All Lines is donating $10 to At the Core for every referral we receive this month. Send your friends and family to us for a quote, and we’ll make a donation to help kids in our community.
