It's kitten season!

| April 16, 2015

If you’re looking to get the pick of the litter, then I have a great idea for you. The Spokane Humane Society is looking for foster homes to parent litters of kittens, pregnant cats, underage kittens without mothers, and underage kittens with mothers. Just contact them to learn more.

You can help save a kitten’s life, but, more importantly, you’ll have a companion in your home. There are many benefits of owning a cat. They help reduce stress, which can help with many health conditions. They can help improve your mood and reduce anxiety. Petting a cat is calming; it can reduce loneliness and help with depression.

We took in our once-little black cat Butch over a 1½ years ago, and he has been a wonderful addition to our home. He has grown quite a bit and is now around 15 lbs. He is so much fun to play with or just hang out, he’s got quite the personality. He was a rescued alley cat, so it took some TLC, but he has won a place in our hearts. If you’re looking to get a kitten or an adult cat, go check out the shelters. I’m sure they can help you find the right fit for your family.
