Great things are afoot

If you dropped by our open house back in September, you probably noticed that we were collecting lots (and lots) of socks. In fact, we collected 487 pairs at this year’s event!

Wondering what we did with all of those socks? Our agency has partnered with Shiloh Hills Elementary School this year, and we donated all 487 pairs of socks to the school for its emergency clothes closet. The closet will help students who don’t have adequate clothing at home, or those who soil their clothing at school.

We want to give a special shout-out to our friend Dud Woodbury. He heard that we were collecting donations, and he immediately went out to Costco to pick up dozens of socks for our drive. He told a cashier why he was purchasing so many socks, and she gave him some of her own money to help buy even more. We are so thankful to have clients like you, Dud!

Thank you to all of you who brought socks for the students at Shiloh Hills! We can’t tell you how much it means to the students.
